Primavera opened its doors in 1995 inviting people to experience a unique gift and home wares shop with an elegant and eclectic flair. Nestled in the heart of Newport’s historic and storied waterfront, Primavera offers our guests a wide range of items with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship featuring work from local artists and exclusive product lines set in a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. Whether it’s your first time visiting our shop or online – and even if it’s your 100th- we love making Primavera a fun, informative and memorable part of your day. Store founders Nadia and Maria bring their individual visions of Primavera together for an unparalleled selection of merchandise to suit many tastes. With a combined passion for bringing the customer items that delight and inspire, much of what we carry is created by skilled local artisans. Primavera changes with the seasons so you’ll always find something new, enticing and sometimes just plain hilarious. We offer beautiful, handcrafted jewelry, decorative home touches, full dinnerware lines, unique works of art, hand-cut stained glass and so much more.
Primavera has an extensive inventory, but if you don’t see what you want, we can help. Special orders and shipping aren’t a problem for our dedicated staff. We even offer gift-wrapping upon request.
